RSSB RSMSSB has released the Lab Assistant Advt No 05/2026 Notification 2026. Notification Date: January 24, 2026.
Application Start Date: January 27, 2026.
Application Last Date: February 25, 2026 (until 11:59 PM).
Exam Dates:
Geography: May 9, 2026.
Science: May 10, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths) or Geography subjects from a recognized board. A computer certificate or diploma is also required for certain posts.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2027): 18 to 40 years. Age relaxation applies as per state government rules.
Language & Culture: Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthani culture.
Application Fees (One-Time Registration - OTR)
Applicants who have already paid the One-Time Registration (OTR) fee do not need to pay again.
General / OBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600.
SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS / PwD: ₹400.
Correction Charge: ₹300.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: Two papers consisting of MCQs; a negative marking of 1/3 applies for wrong answers.
- Document Verification (DV): Conducted for candidates clearing the written cutoff.
- Final Merit List: Based on written exam marks and successful DV.
- Visit the official RSSB Website or the Rajasthan SSO Portal.
- Log in using your SSO ID and password. New users must register first.
- Navigate to "Recruitment Portal" under Citizen Apps (G2C).
- Select the link for "Direct Recruitment of Lab Assistant- 2026".
- Complete the application form, upload your photo and signature, and pay the fee via the OTR system.
- Preview and submit the form, then print a copy for your records.
