Online Application Start: January 31, 2026.
Last Date to Apply: March 2, 2026 (11:59 PM).
Correction Window: Scheduled for March 5 to March 14, 2026.
Vacancy and Eligibility
Total Vacancies: Approximately 22,000 Level-1 posts, including roles such as Pointsman, Track Maintainer, Assistant Loco Shed, and Assistant Operations.
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard (High School) passed from a recognized board, ITI, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2026):
Minimum: 18 years.
Maximum: 33 years (UR/EWS), 36 years (OBC-NCL), and 38 years (SC/ST).
Application Fees
The application fee includes a refund policy for candidates who appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT):
General / OBC / EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after CBT).
SC / ST / PH / Female / Transgender / EBC: ₹250 (Full ₹250 refunded after CBT).
How to Apply
- Candidates must submit their applications exclusively through the official portal:
- Visit the official RRB Recruitment Portal.
- Select "New Registration" and enter basic details (Name, DOB, Mobile No., Email ID) to generate a Registration ID and Password.
- Log in and fill out the detailed form, including educational qualifications and post preferences.
- Upload required documents:
- Photograph: 35mm x 45mm (15-40 KB).
- Signature: Clear scan in black ink (10-20 KB).
- Category Certificate: If applicable (50-100 KB).
- Pay the fee via Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, or UPI.
- Submit the form and print the confirmation page for future reference.
