Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in History, Economics, or Social Sciences with at least 55% marks.
Research Experience: A minimum of two years of research work experience (verified by a recognized university or Social Research Institute) as of January 27, 2026.
Age Limit (as of August 1, 2025): Minimum: 21 years.
Maximum: 37 years (UR Male), 40 years (BC/EBC & UR Female), 42 years (SC/ST).
Selection Process
The selection involves a multi-stage process:
Main Competitive Examination:
General Hindi & General English (Qualifying only).
General Studies Paper 1 & 2 (300 marks each).
Optional Subject (300 marks).
Interview: 110 marks, with an additional 10-mark preference for those with relevant research experience (Total 120 marks).
