Indian Army JAG 124 Entry Online Form 2026

The Indian Army has released the notification for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) 124th Entry Scheme for the October 2026 course. This entry is open to unmarried law graduates (Men and Women) for a Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.

Application Start Date: January 27, 2026
Last Date to Apply: February 27, 2026 (until 3:00 PM)
Course Commencement: October 2026 

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2).
• Candidates must be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State.
• CLAT PG Requirement: A valid CLAT PG score is mandatory for all candidates.

Age Limit: 21 to 27 years as of July 1, 2026 (Born between July 2, 1999, and July 1, 2005, both dates inclusive).

Application Process

1. Visit the official Join Indian Army website.
2. Click on "Officer Entry Apply/Login" and then select "Registration".
3. Fill in the required personal, educational, and communication details.
4. Upload necessary documents, including your photograph, signature, and law degree certificates.
5. There is no application fee for any candidate. 

Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance and CLAT PG scores.
2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage SSB interview (Stage I & II).
3. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB will be required to pass a medical fitness test.
4. Training: Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
