The Indian Air Force (IAF) has opened the Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme. Unmarried Indian male and female candidates aged 17.5–21 years can apply online for the Agniveer Vayu (Airmen) post. The online application started on 12 January 2026 and the last date to apply is 01 February 2026. Eligibility includes 10+2 pass with relevant subjects (science/other streams) or equivalent vocational/engineering diploma with required marks. Selection involves an online test, physical fitness test, and medical exam. Aspirants can register through the official portal before the deadline.

Eligibility & Requirements
Age Limit : Born between January 01, 2006 and July 01, 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Educational (Science) : 10+2 with Physics, Math, and English (Min. 50% aggregate & 50% in English).
Educational (Others) : 10+2 in any stream (Min. 50% aggregate & 50% in English).
Gender/Status : Unmarried Indian Male and Female candidates.
Application Fee : ₹550 + GST (Applicable for all categories).
Selection Process
- The selection is divided into three distinct phases:
- Phase I: Online Written Test (Objective type).
- Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I, and Adaptability Test-II.
- Phase III: Mandatory Medical Examination.
