One-Time Registration (OTR)
- This year, completing the OTR is a compulsory first step. You cannot fill out the UPTET application form without an OTR ID.
- Portal: Register at otr.pariksha.nic.in or via the official UPESSC website.
- Process: Enter personal details, verify your mobile/email via OTP, and upload your photo and signature once.
- Benefits: This data will be automatically fetched for future UP teaching recruitments, reducing the need for repetitive entries.
Eligibility Criteria
- Primary Level: Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed (BTC) or B.Ed. Alternatively, 10+2 with 50% and a 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Upper Primary Level: Graduation with B.Ed or 2-year D.El.Ed. Candidates in the final year of these professional courses are also eligible to apply.

- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000
- SC / ST: ₹500
- PwD (PH): ₹300
Age Limit
- General (Unreserved) 18 Years to 35 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 18 Years to 40 Years (+5 yrs relaxation)
- SC / ST,18 Years to 40 Years (+5 yrs relaxation)
- PwD (Physically Handicapped) 18 Years to 50 Years (+15 yrs relaxation)
- Ex-Servicemen 18 Years to 38 Years (+3 yrs + service period)
