ITBP Constable Barber and Washerman Online Form 2026
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has officially released the notification for the recruitment of Constable (Barber) and Constable (Washerman) for 2026. This recruitment is part of the Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Eligible male Indian citizens can apply online starting from March 30, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) from a recognized Board.
Candidates must pass a Trade Test in their respective profession (Barber/Washerman).
2. Age Limit (as of April 28, 2026):
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 23 Years
Note: Candidates should not have been born earlier than April 29, 2003.
Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.
3. Physical Standards:
Height: 170 Cms (General/OBC/SC); 162.5 Cms (ST).
Chest: 80-85 Cms (General/OBC/SC); 76-81 Cms (ST).

SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen: Nil (Free)
Female Candidates: Nil (Free)

Selection Process
The selection process consists of several phases:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Initial physical screening.
Written Examination: Objective-type test.
Trade Test: Practical exam related to the specific trade (Barber/Washerman).
Document Verification: Checking original certificates.
Medical Examination: Final fitness assessment.
