The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) recruitment for the year 2025-26. The current drive is primarily focused on Wealth Management roles on a contract basis.
Notably, the last date to apply for the largest current advertisement (CRPD/SCO/2025-26/17) has been extended to January 10, 2026.

1. Vice President - Wealth (Senior Relationship Manager)
Mandatory Qualification: Graduation from a government-recognized University or Institution.
Preferred Qualification: MBA (Banking/Finance/Marketing) with at least 60% marks. Additional certifications like NISM (V-A, XXI-A), CFP, or CFA are highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in sales and marketing with leading Public, Private, or Foreign Banks, Wealth Management Firms, or AMCs.
Age Limit: 26 to 42 years (as of May 1, 2025).
2. Assistant Vice President - Wealth (Relationship Manager)
Mandatory Qualification: Graduation from a government-recognized University or Institution.
Preferred Qualification: Weightage is given to candidates with a Post-Graduation in Finance, Marketing, or Banking. Certifications like NISM, CFP, or CFA are an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Relationship Manager or in a similar role in Wealth Management within Banks or financial firms.
Age Limit: 23 to 35 years (as of May 1, 2025).
3. Customer Relationship Executive (CRE)
Mandatory Qualification: Graduation from a government-recognized University or Institution.
Essential Skill: Must possess a valid driving license for a two-wheeler.
Experience: Experience in the documentation of financial products is preferred. This role is often suitable for those with less experience compared to the RM roles.
Age Limit: 20 to 35 years (as of May 1, 2025).
Selection Process
The selection for these posts does not involve a written exam. Instead, it follows a two-step process:
Shortlisting: Applications are reviewed based on educational qualifications and relevant experience.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview (100 marks). The final merit list is prepared based strictly on interview scores.
