The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially released the detailed notification for the recruitment of 572 Office Attendants for the year 2026. The application window is now open as of today, January 15, 2026.
Important Dates (2026)
Online Application Start Date: January 15, 2026.
Last Date to Apply Online: February 4, 2026 (until 11:59 PM).
Last Date for Fee Payment: February 4, 2026.
Tentative Online Exam Dates: February 28 and March 1, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria (as of January 1, 2026)
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) from a recognized board within the regional jurisdiction of the recruiting office.
Note: Only undergraduates are eligible; graduates and those with higher qualifications are not permitted to apply.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years. Candidates must have been born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2008 (both days inclusive).
Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in the official local language of the State/UT under the recruiting office.
Application Fee
General / OBC / EWS: ₹450 + 18% GST.
SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: ₹50 + 18% GST.
How to Apply
Visit the RBI Opportunities Portal.
Go to the "Current Vacancies" section and select the "Recruitment for the post of Office Attendant – PY 2025" link.
Click "Click here for New Registration" to generate a registration number and password.
Fill out the application form and upload necessary documents, including a scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
Pay the fee online and download the final submitted application form for your records.
The selection process includes an Online Objective Test followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT), which is qualifying in nature.
