To be eligible, candidates must be unmarried female engineering graduates or widows of Defence Personnel. The age limit as of October 1, 2026, is 20 to 27 years for general candidates, with a maximum of 35 years for widows of Defence Personnel. Applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant engineering fields, and final-year students may apply if they can prove they will pass by October 1, 2026.

There are a total of 31 vacancies for the 67th Women's course, with 29 for SSC(W) Tech across various engineering streams and 2 for Widows of Defence Personnel (one technical, one non-technical).

Selection Process
- There is no written exam for this entry.
- Shortlisting: Based on the cumulative percentage of marks up to the 6th semester (or 8th for graduates).
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a 5-day SSB interview process at selection centers (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, or Kapurthala).
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical board.
- Merit List: Final selection is based on SSB marks and medical fitness.
