The CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML) has officially released the recruitment notification (Advt. No. 10/2025) for 22 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies. This is a central government opportunity for candidates who have completed 10th grade or hold an ITI certification.

Vacancy Details (22 Total Posts)
The vacancies are distributed across general and trade-specific roles:
General MTS (Post Code M-01): 14 Posts
Trade-Specific MTS (M-02 to M-07): 8 Posts (including Electrician, Carpenter, Fitter, Plumber, AC & Refrigeration, and COPA)
Educational Qualification:
General MTS: 10th Standard / Matriculation pass or equivalent.
Trade MTS: ITI pass in the relevant trade (e.g., Electrician, Fitter, Plumber).
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as of February 6, 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates per Government of India norms.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-1 (₹18,000–₹56,900), with total monthly emoluments estimated at approximately ₹36,000.
