The vacancies are split between General Duty (GD) and Government Railway Police (GRP):
- Male Constable (General Duty): 4,500 posts
- Female Constable (General Duty): 600 posts
- Male Constable (GRP): 400 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. You must also have Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matric (10th) or higher.
Mandatory Requirement: Only candidates who have qualified for the HSSC CET (Group-C) are eligible to apply.
Age Limit (as of Jan 1, 2026): * General: 18 to 25 years.
Note: Relaxation in the upper age limit applies to reserved categories (SC/BC/EWS) as per Haryana Government rules.
Selection Process & Physical Standards
The selection is qualifying at several stages, leading up to the final Knowledge Test.
1. Physical Screening Test (PST) - Qualifying
- Males: 2.5 km race in 12 minutes.
- Females: 1.0 km race in 6 minutes.
- Ex-Servicemen: 1.0 km race in 5 minutes.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) - Qualifying
- Height (Male): 170 cm (General), 168 cm (Reserved).
- Chest (Male): 83 cm unexpanded to 87 cm expanded (General).
- Height (Female): 158 cm (General), 156 cm (Reserved).
3. Knowledge Test (Written Exam)
- Weightage: 94.5% of the final merit.
- Pattern: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (Bilingual).
- Topics: General Studies, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Computer Knowledge (10%), and Haryana GK (20%).

- Register, fill out the form, and upload documents (photo, signature, Aadhar, certificates).
- Submit the application and print the confirmation.
